I wonder how many of us consider the possibility that the person who gives us the most grief about our faith was put there so we could receive this blessing?
I love because I know I am His. I know I am a daughter of the King. I know that not only do I belong to Him, but no one can take me away from Him.
The time is now; we are never ever promised tomorrow. What will you do if you get to heaven and all you have to say is, “I was going to…… but I ran out of time….”
That’s kinda the way God looks at our love for him. If we use it to glorify others, we will be blessed and our love for Him will be multiplied.
Have you ever stopped and wondered, “why us?” Why would God want to be with people who are always making the wrong decision?
We spend SO. MUCH. TIME. trying to figure out the end of the world that we fail to recognize today and all the possibilities it has. We’re so worried about the world ending that we forget to live, forget to laugh, forget to love.
For now, we have come full circle and the rule, the laws, the covenants that became a tie that bound, now has become pure folklore. Something to consider, or, not even that if it doesn’t suit our fancy. Just words of an ancient text.
Our lives are meant to be lived a certain way – the way God intended. No other way will work. My way won’t work, your way won’t work. Only God’s way will work.
Every time I wonder a certain sentence is in the bible, it’s like the reason jumps out and bites me. Jesus basically said to his disciples, “have you been listening to anything I’m saying??”
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Ephesians 4:1 NIV
