my favorite portion of that whole parable the verse … where the younger son…the one that went his own way, wasted his fortune… it says…
How have we allowed this type of life drama, real life drama, to become daily entertainment? Have we sunk so low that we no longer are titilated by fake life and scripts and story lines but now we need real tears and grief and moral destruction?
but the lies you chose to believe – the stories you tell yourself – have you clothed – grandly. ignore the pain – drown the sorrow – run from the reality
if Satan can whisper in our ear…make us think we are unworthy…our choices have been so blown…our sin was too big…our mistakes TOO bad…if he can keep us weighed down with that defeat …then what?… we are NOT JOYFUL and he gets to do a little dance of victory…
The bible is chock full of verses on forgivness. Ultimately it’s kinda what the whole thing is about. If forgivness was not the whole point of the Word of God, why would God had sent His SOn to the cross to pay the price for OUR sins? The Ultimate sacrifice.
I’m so excited to introduce Beth from Messy Marriage. She was kind enough to share my Love Series on her blog and I asked if I could do the same and share one (or maybe more) of her posts on my blog. She graciously agreed (thank you Beth) <3
