Have you ever stood at the foot of the sea and wondered why it was so breathtaking, or look up from the base of a mountain and gaze in awe at the sheer magnificence? How about the stars; ever wonder why there were so many? Have you ever given it more than a moment’s thought that no man could ever take away one single star?
Look up at the sky on a clear night and ask the question, ‘who is God?’ Travel to the mountains and ask the question, ‘who is God?’ Sit on the beach, gazing into the endless ocean and ask the question, ‘who is God?’
Throughout the entire Bible, God is desperately trying to connect with his people. He calls to them, he blesses them, he warns them, he destroys them, and he redeems them. From the fall in Eden to the return of Christ, it’s really a love story. God created us in his image and it was very good. He loved us from the beginning.
“O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.” (Psalm 8:1 NIV)

Sometimes, we need to praise God for who He is. A clear crisp night when the starts are visible is a perfect example. Spend some time gazing at the stars. Feel infinitesimal; it’s good for the soul.
Did God really create the entire universe? Did He really make Eve out of a rib from Adam? Was there really a flood? Could a fish really have swallowed a man? How could Jesus have really risen from the dead? What if there is more than one way to get into heaven? What if none of it’s true? What if they were just stories?
