Entitlement. Whew… it’s such a huge issue. We think we’re entitled to the things we have, the things we buy, the things we do. They are ours. Keep your grubby hands off them. Get out of my sandbox.
From an early age, we were taught to ‘look out for #1′ and to always take care of our own needs first. We were taught to give from what’s left over. What would happen if we flipped it around? God uses everything for good. Everything we do, every mistake we make, every connection we have can be used in a mighty way by God. The bible says all Potiphar had to concern himself with was eating his three meals every day.
Do you want to know if you are living a life of purpose? Do you want to know if you’re doing what you are meant to do; if you’re making any headway? Look around… look that the lives of those you have touched. Their lives and the labors they pursue are your answer.
